"Founded in 2009, the original Café Névé was opened on rue Rachel in the Little Portugal area of Le Plateau Montréal. This first shop was the cumulative dream of professional barista and service industry lifer Luke Spicer and Montreal business entrepreneur Francois Larose. On a shoestring budget, and a couple of sleepless months the duo built Névé from the ground-up with a vision to offer the Plateau community a welcoming space to enjoy third-wave coffee and honest café fare."-Café Névé
